SWIM PRACTICE/RAIN INFORMATION

We just wanted to let you know that we will practice in rain, but we will not practice in thunderstorm conditions.

When we hear or see thunder /lightning, the water and pool deck must be cleared for at least 20 minutes.

On colder days, we understand the water temps may be too chilly for our younger/smaller friends. It's our coaching policy that we do not force swimmers to stay in when it is too cold for them. When we see blue lips and trembling/shivering we will suggest they go warm up. If a swimmer tells us they are too cold to continue, we respect that. If as a parent you wish for them to continue on in that practice, that is a conversation for parent/swimmer and we will respect the outcome of that conversation.

If you decide the weather is not warm enough for practice, you do NOT need to clear it with a coach, just make the decision that is best for your swimmer. We only need to be notified if they will be missing a swim meet!!!!!

Thanks!
